Welcome to The Prairie Queen Bed and Breakfast. The Prairie Queen is the premier bed and breakfast in Leavenworth, Kansas and takes its name from a Missouri River river boat that docked at Leavenworth. The Prairie Queen was built in 1868 by one of Leavenworth's early industrialists, John Wilson, who was the president of Great Western Manufacturing.

Take a step back in time as you drive up the brick driveway and receive your welcome under the porte-cochere. Relax in one of the three elegant bedrooms, as you enjoy the warm personal hospitality of your hosts and indulge in a delicious home cooked breakfast prepared in the kitchen by your hosts. Unwind in a soothing hot tub or by a cozy fireplace. Take a stroll along the beautiful Missouri River, tour historic Fort Leavenworth, take a bicycle tour of the area, or even enjoy a workout at the Riverfront Community Center.

The three individually decorated guest rooms include private baths. All rooms offer king size beds and furniture built for comfort. The outdoor hot tub is the perfect place for soaking tired muscles after a day of shopping or touring.
